It can be hard to get ice time in Central Florida. The revolution tiles work as advertised and then some. We have 40 tiles set up in our garage and they've been a valuable training tool for our two boys.

My son uses the tiles every chance that he gets. We only have 55 tiles, which is not enough for him to do much on since he is tall. We will be buying a lot more, we want to finish half of the basement with the tiles.

Exactly what we were expecting, easy to install and my boys love skating on them in the basement. Worth every penny.

Super cool way of working on skating without access to ice. Not as good as ice, but pretty close!

My two sons are very excited to have the chance skating at home. It's been about one month now, they still love to play on it.

The revolution tiles are the closest thing I have found to real ice that's truly affordable even for teenagers in school

The Synthetic Ice has been a bit of a disappointment thus far. The tiles are very flimsy and are not solid pieces of plastic. After only a handful of uses, where we've started and stopped on them the top layer has been scraped away leaving the base of the tile. The base is maybe 1/16" thick, and then on the underside - it has support "crosses" sporadically spaced to provide the rest of the thickness of the tile. The tiles also have a slight arch to them, so when snapped together - they go up in the middle and then back down to where they snap together. This brings me to the joining of the tiles. The tiles go together easily and quickly, however the fit of the tiles together is a lot let snug than I would have expected. I've seen and skated on other synthetic ice where they were larger "sheets" - and the joints are flawless and tight, and there is no "bow" to the ice at any parts. Our area of ice is roughly 18' x 30' - and there is a definite wear appearing in the high traffic turn/stopping areas. I'm not sure I would recommend these tiles for high use skating. Stickhandling and shooting, absolutely. Passing is tough as the puck sometimes wants to wobble moving quickly from tile to tile. Make sure you have a good vacuum nearby as well for your clothing and skates as the amount of plastic that is shaved off is a LOT more than we were anticipating. All in all, the product works - skating on it is a little challenging and will force skaters to bend their knees and stay low due to the friction difference between this and real ice. Had we had the opportunity to try the product first, I'm not sure we would have bought them - but we'll make it work for the remaining years that I play hockey along with my children. If cost and flexibility in shape/ice design is something of consideration for you, these were the best option on the market. Durability is yet to be seen - but after only a month or two of "light" usage, some of the tiles look pretty rough. Hopefully they hold up - and hopefully this review helps anyone looking at the Synthetic Ice tiles.

Light weight. Easy set up, Great for stick handling indoors and you can skate on them. Skating is a little sticky. No gliding, but great to work on skates insides!

Great product and fast shipping

Better than expected. The only frustrating part was when the initial shipment was short 5 tiles. On Christmas morning....... Hockey Shot quickly corrected the problem, and more than made up for their mistake. Very impressed with the ease of use.

Easy to put together and fun for the kids. It feels just like skating on ice. My kids love it and spend all day and night skating on their rink.
